Booking & Cancellation Policy

I value your time and appreciate you valuing mine. When you book an appointment, that time is reserved exclusively for you. Because of the time and preparation involved in each service, I kindly ask that you review the following policies before booking.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment without a fee.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 72 hours’ notice will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled service total.

Late Arrivals

Please plan to arrive on time for your appointment. If you are more than 20 minutes late, your appointment will be considered a no-show and the full service price will be charged.

Depending on the service and the amount of time remaining, arriving late may also mean that your service cannot be completed as originally scheduled.

No-Shows

Appointments missed without notice will be considered a no-show and will be charged 100% of the scheduled service total.

Frequent Cancellations & Rescheduling

Clients who frequently cancel or reschedule appointments may be required to provide a non-refundable deposit in order to book future appointments.

This policy helps ensure that reserved appointment times are respected and available to clients who are committed to keeping their scheduled appointments.

Full-Day Appointments

Full-day appointments, which typically include gray blending, extensive color transformations, and color correction services, require a non-refundable deposit to secure the appointment.

These appointments require significant time to be reserved exclusively for you, as well as advance preparation and product planning. The deposit will be applied toward the total cost of your service.

By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to these policies.

Color & Gray Blending Policy

Consultations

Color services are highly individualized, and every head of hair is different. For significant color changes, gray blending, color corrections, or other extensive services, a consultation may be required before an appointment is booked.

During your consultation, we will discuss your current hair, previous color history, your desired result, the process involved, estimated timing, and expected investment.

Because color results can be affected by previous color, underlying pigment, hair condition, texture, and other factors, the final result may not always be identical to an inspiration photo. My goal is to create the healthiest and most achievable result for your individual hair.

Gray Blending & Transformational Color

Gray blending and major color transformations are specialty services that can require several hours of work. These services are customized specifically for each client and may require multiple techniques, formulas, and applications.

The amount of time and product needed can vary depending on your starting point, hair density, length, previous color, and desired result. For this reason, service timing and pricing discussed during your consultation are estimates and may need to be adjusted when necessary.

Please be completely transparent about your color history during your consultation, including previous color, highlights, permanent color, fashion colors, henna, at-home color, or other chemical services. Previous color can significantly affect what is safely and realistically achievable.

Inspiration Photos & Expectations

Inspiration photos are helpful for communicating your desired look, but they are not a guarantee of an identical result. Photos can be affected by lighting, filters, styling, hair density, and the individual’s natural hair characteristics.

I will always discuss what I believe is realistically achievable for your hair and will prioritize the health and integrity of your hair throughout the service.

For major transformations, achieving your ultimate goal may require multiple appointments or a gradual process rather than one service.

Adjustments

Your satisfaction is important to me. If you have concerns about your color after your appointment, please contact me as soon as possible so we can discuss your concerns and determine the appropriate next step.

Color adjustments are evaluated case by case. An adjustment may be appropriate when the result differs from what was discussed during the consultation. Changes in preference after the service, or a desired result that differs from what was originally agreed upon, may be considered a new service and may be subject to the regular service price.

Please allow me the opportunity to address any concerns before having another stylist alter your color, as another color service can significantly change the hair and may affect what can be safely done afterward.

Refunds

Because color services involve significant time, skill, preparation, and professional products, services are non-refundable.

If you have a concern about your result, please reach out to me directly so we can discuss it and determine whether an adjustment is appropriate.

Additional Time & Product

For extensive color services, the amount of time and product required can vary significantly from client to client. If your hair requires substantially more time, product, or additional services than originally anticipated, the service price may be adjusted accordingly.

I will communicate with you if a significant change to the expected service or investment becomes necessary.

By booking a color, gray blending, or corrective service, you acknowledge that color results vary from person to person and agree to the consultation, pricing, and service expectations discussed prior to your appointment.
